2006.06.30.

We've got our project, and started with reading a lot of papers from the internet about face detecting and recognising algorithms.

2006.07.01.

Wojciech found an open source software called OpenCV, which has many implemented image processing algorithms for example haar detector for object detecting. After this we have read the user manual of OpenCV, and we decided about the algorithms, we want to use.

2006.07.03.

Wojciech made some functions to detect a face on an image, Imre wrote a function to resize an image to any size, Gyorgy made some functions for image cutting, thresholding and histogram equalization, and Agnes looked for face recognizing algorithms (for example eye detection, mouth detection).

2006.07.04.

We continued the work with OpenCV, Imre connected the existing parts of the software, Wojciech read papers about how to use the Haar-detector built in OpenCV for finding any objects, for example eyes and faces. Gyorgy made the base of the teams website. And Italy won over Germany, so Italy plays in the final of the football world championship :)

2006.07.05.

Wojciech started to teach the Haar-detector built in the OpenCV to detecting eyes. Gyorgy began to make a graphical user interface. Agnes planned the representation, and helped with the GUI, while Imre was still connecting the parts of the software.

2006.07.06.

Agnes finshed the GUI, Wojciech made a Haar-detector, that detects eyes with high efficienty, Imre made an other detector for detecting mouth, Gyorgy finished the website.
