Summary: The term extended reality covers virtual reality, augmented reality and mixed reality. While virtual reality is an artificial world constructed by computer graphics, augmented and mixed realities deal with mixing the outer world with artificial graphical objects. These latter two built heavily on top of computer vision, sensor processing and computer graphics. In the lecture we cover the terms, their approaches, available devices and therotical background.
