Andras is currently an assistant professor at the Department of Software Engineering, University of Szeged. His research addresses the interoperation of IoT-Fog-Cloud systems with a primary focus on resource management and orchestration methods, as well as analyzing how scheduling and computational offloading algorithms affect energy consumption, cost efficiency, and resource utilization within the Cloud-to-Thing Continuum.

He is also a member of the IoT Cloud Research Group at the department. In this role, he is involved in several research and software development projects, including the DISSECT-CF-Fog simulation tool, as well as various national and international initiatives such as the EU-funded Swarmchestrate (no. 101135012) and the CERCIRAS COST Action (no. CA19135).

He received his master's degree in Software Engineering in 2019 and his Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2023, both from the University of Szeged, Hungary.
