Spherical Harmonic Shape Descriptors

• Parameterisation assigns a pair of parameters (?,?) for each vertex {x, y, z} on the surface of the voxel object.

• Samples a function u1 that we defined before as,

We can use Spherical Harmonics as the basis functions to expand the function u1.
