Optical Flow
I'm interested in Optical Flow detection, our new framework based on Gaussian image-pyramid. The PowerPoint presentation

Optical Flow computation with Mumford-Shah energy minimization
We have tried a new method for optical flow determination with Mumford-Shah energy functional, but at time we tested only
with simulated annealing energy minimization algorithm.

Active Contours for multiple feature segmentation (motion, color, texture)
We have extended the Gradient Vector Flow external snake energy model for more dimension and feature spaces. We have tested
our algorithm for motion, color and texture features and their combination too.
Motion tracking with robot camera
We have made a robot camera which can track a moving object or a selected object with a statistical method. In the presentation
(at time hungarian) can be seen a few test for object/motion tracking, optical flow computing (real time!!).
Thesis for master degree
I summary in this work the foregoing methods, and present a lot of test results.
Statistical Shape Modeling
We work on statistical shape modelling (SSM) and SSM combination with different segmentation models.
Variational methods (Higher-Order Active Contours)
I'm interested at variational methods and shape modeling, actually I'm working on Higher-Order Active Contours which is a new generation of active contour models, and we are developing models to extract tree crowns on aerial images.
